Pictures taken 7/17/08 Radar is 1/2 MFT and 1/2 Paint and we had his breeder cert, but I have lost it, but I do have is print out on his Sire and Dam and there pedigree, also the name and number of his original breeder and owner, who happens to be our Vet, so not a problem if you should choose to register him, both of his parents are well papered and have good pedigrees. He is 9 years old, very healthly and like a big pet. We named him Radar, because no matter where we are in the pasture he will find us, he loves attention and to be loved on, this boy has tons of personality. You can own 500 acres and put him out and never need a feed bucket to catch him, just hollar and he'll come a running. We have had Radar scheduled to go for a refreshing course, as he was well broke to ride, per the previous owners and our vet who had originally owned him, but he was left to sit in a pasture for a year or more. Currently we are lunging him and getting him used to being under saddle again, as our trainer is out of pocket for awhile. We will probably do the refreshing on him ourselves and if he does not respond then we will send him on to the Prof. Trainer. He is a big boy 16.3 maybe a little more or maybe a little less, haven't actually measured him. He lungs beautifully with fluid smooth movements and gentle is his middle name. More info on him as we have it. SOLD RADAR WILL BE MAKING HIS HOME IN BANGS, TX.

HAAS
Joined our herd 7/12/08
Haas: Is a 6 year old beautiful bay gelding, 15 hands, and is just about as sweet as they come, he doesn't know very much. He is very gentle, on the ground and in the saddle, he stands for brushing, fly spray, picking up his feet, stands 100% still for saddling, mounting, dismounting and takes the bit with no problems at all. He direct reins, gives his head both ways, nice walk and trot and comfortable lope, he didn't spook at anything around our place, the dogs, vehicles, even loped him around the barrels. He has no buck, bite or kick, just needs some miles on him. At this point I think just about anyone could ride him, but we have only had him a few days, so we will have to see if that changes with time.
SOLD-THANK YOU LAURIE-AUSTIN TEXAS!

Bailey
|

|
|
Bailey: 8 year old dappled grey mare, we were told they had used her for a broodmare the last couple years and she hadn't been rode, but she did really great! She is aprox 14.2 or 3 hands, nice to look at, easy to handle on the ground and in the saddle. She saddled up great, did great with the fly spray, took the bit with no problem, stood still for mount and dismount, we walked and trotted as we had a lot of rain that morning and loping was not an option. Rode in the round pen and then just out and about, she paid attention, but not spooking or side stepping, didn't seem to mind the dogs much...........she just did great! I had no problems handling her at all. She did neck rein, but had to use some leg pressure with it, direct reined easily, backed up. Would probably make a good trail horse or anything else you wanted to do with her. 875.00 WILL TRADE FOR AN OLDER WELL BROKE GELDING. This mare has been sitting in the pasture, needs some riding, she did great on the trails, before we put her out in the pasture. Rode her twice this week, and she did well.
SOLD TO REBECCA OF DELEON, TX.

Promise
|
PROMISE: 9 year old POA Pony, sweet guy about 11.3 hands, rides well, pocket type pony, very gentle, has been used to lead line kids at playdays, use as a lead line pony or ride him with a bit, handles well, direct reins, will ride single or follow an adult, quite to trail on, not a run away. 750.00 He is better at lead line, as kids have to kick him pretty hard to have him go off by himself, will follow an adult or another horse with no kicking or effort.
SOLD-PROMISE WILL BE MAKING HIS NEW HOME IN ANSON, TX WITH CRYSTAL AND HER LITTLE GIRL.

Sally
|
Sally: 10 year old Appy mare 15.1 or so hands, very stout, and extremely gentle, easy to catch, stands tied quiet, picks up all four feet, stood perfect to be fly sprayed. Stands quite to be tacked up, took the bridle with no problem. Didn't spook at anything so far, didn't mind the dogs, trampoline, gator........etc. direct reins-neck reins, but needs work, backs, nice smooth walk and trot, couldn't do anymore than that due to the rain last night, rides with a nice low head. Very nice mare and flashy to boot! Does have a broomstick tail, but with an attitude like her's you can over look it. Sally is on the lazy side, and you have to really work to get her to lope I did not try with spurs, which could be an option. She would make a nice trail horse, without much fear that she's going to take off with you. 1025.00 Did great trail riding, crossed everything asked of her without issue, not a run away.
