4/1/2008 Scotty: 14 or 15year old 1/2 Qtr. Horse and 1/2 Arabian, really nice stout fellow, reminds me of a Scottish Nobleman :) thus his name! Rides good, neck reins, backs about 14.2 or 3 hands and STOUT! Stood still for saddling and mounting, trailered good. I am going to get his feet done this week and have his teeth floated. Confident beginner can ride this guy. I rode him without lunging or warm up and away we went out in the open. Vet papers in hand, current coggins. Owned by the same family for the last 3 years. He loves taking a bath!

I do not think she was used for anything else and she will fly around the barrels if you ask her too!  She was very easy to control, neck reins wonderful, backs incredible, stood still for mount and dismount.  We are still putting some weight on her and I believe needs to have her teeth floated.  Awesome starter horse for kids to playday on.  675.00 Sold-THANK YOU-ALICIA SWEENY-RICHLAND SPRINGS, TX.

Pina is a Registered Arabian and she is half quarter horse.  Endurance is her middle name, I don't think you can wear her out.  She is gentle and easy to handle, 13 years old, neck reins with bridle and reins or with just a halter on, rides extremely well, does trails, has been to play days, turns quick and easy, backs, there is nothing this horse can't do if asked.  We have not tracked cattle on her, but have used her to pen up the other horses.  2000.00 Firm SOLD.
Charlie

Charlie:  14 yr. old Sorrel gelding Qtr horse about 14.1 hands, really quite gelding, very easy to catch, turned him out in my yard while I filled water troughs and he just followed me around and then would wander off and graze and come back.  Stood, still for fly spray, grooming, picks up all four, farrier friendly, tacks up good, stands still for mount and dismount, took the bridle with no problems, direct reins easily, backs, flex's head both ways, very laid back walk and trot, had to get after him to lope, as he rather just move along at an easy pace, spooked at nothing-dogs, trampoline, trees, bushes, vehicles, other horses, rode through the brush and mud puddles.  Great trail horse or pasture riding, for someone who just wants a nice pleasurable ride.  I think it would be highly unlikely that he is going to run off with anyone and he stops great and is very easy to control.    Needs some weight and wormed 4/22/08, feet trimmed 4/22/08  4/26 - UPDATE:  We took Charlie to the vet to have bean removed and he has a UTI, so he is on antibiotics for the next 7 days and won't be available until he's finished with them.  UPDATE: 5/8/08  APPARENTLY CHARLIE WAS NOT WELL FROM THE UTI AND STILL SORE AND I KICKED HIM THE FLANKS AND WE HAD A ALL OUT RODEO (I AM NOW AN OFFICAL COWBOY!) THEN HE JUST CAME WALKING OVER TO ME ALL BUT CONFUSED BY THE EVENTS :), BE THAT AS IT MAY, I WILL NOT RIDE HIM AGAIN AND I WON'T BE TAKING HIM BACK TO THE VET, AS WE ALREADY HAVE TO MUCH MONEY IN HIM, CHARLIE WILL BE GOING TO AUCTION AT SOME POINT IN THE NEAR FUTURE, IF YOU WANT HIM AND WANT TO TAKE HIM TO THE VET THEN YOU'LL PROBABLY END UP WITH A AWESOME HORSE, BECAUSE I HAVE RODE HIM EVERYWHERE AND THIS REALLY SURPRISED ME, BUT I WILL NOT GUARANTEE HIM.............AS, IT SCARED ME AND I DON'T WANT ANYONE TO THINK WE MISREPRESENTED HIM.  SOLD-THANK YOU CHRIS-BAIRD, TX.  I HOPE HE WORKS OUT FOR YOU AND THAT HE DOESN'T DECIDE TO HAVE ANOTHER RODEO!

BUCKSHOT

BUCKSHOT/NOW CALLED CISCO:  Big buckskin gelding 16+ hands, rides wonderful, very gentle, great ground manners, not spooky, stout and wide!! rides with a snaffle bit, he has a scar between his neck and shoulder, its not very old, no muscle involved, does not give to it all and he was rode very hard and it's sound..............really nice gelding and a great attitude. 5/6/08 Easy to catch, easy to handle, great ground manners, very calm. Took Buckshot to the lake last night and he did great, didn't spook at anything, we need to have his feet trimmed, the scar on his shoulder is just a scar, he had no give to it all, no limp. SOLD-THANK YOU THE THRUSH FAMILY-BALLINGER, TX.

Sailor

Sailor:  7 year old dappled grey gelding, good looking guy, gentle and easy to tack up, he is about 14.3 hands nice build.  Tacks up easy, stands for mount and dismount, direct reins easily, does neck rein, but needs work, good walk, trot and to really kick him into a lope, no buck or bite, hasn't spooked at anything so far and I have only ridden him once to date.  His price will go up or down with continued riding and us getting to know him better, so far so good  875.00, he is healthy and sound 04/26/07  update:  I am finding him hard to catch, snorty and needing work on his ground manners, his price reflects his need for more training.  He is not at all bad in the saddle, but needs ground work.  A good horse that 30 days at the trainers and you'll have an awesome horse. UPDATE:  5/5/08  What I have found about Sailor is that he needs ground training, he is a totally different horse under saddle than he is on the ground, he is snorty, hard to catch and pushy.  It's a shame as he is a good looking gelding, so much so that if he doesn't sale at the lower price in the next two weeks, then he'll be off to the trainer, and return at a much higher price...........he's way to good of a gelding to send to an auction.  Sound and healthy.
SOLD TO THE THRUSH FAMILY-THANK YOU-BALLINGER, TX.

She has a good handle on her!!  Neck reins WONDERFUL!!
3/27/08  We took her out to the lake today and she didn't spook at all, crossed anything asked of her and rode like a dream, has a wonderful gait. Sold-Thank you- Mary-Caldwell, Tx.

Miss Scarlett:  8 year old Gaited Morgan mare, solid black, wide and stout, thick necked.  Stands quite for saddling, mounting and dismounting, neck reins very good.  She seemed a little hard headed at first and wanted to come back to where the gelding was, but she relaxed shortly and rode wonderful.  More info and price to come after we go out on the trails with her.

Teak O Beau-registered

Beau:  12 year old AQHA registered gelding, these pictures were taken the day we realized he had a previous injury.  He appears to have had a right shoulder injury at some point.  He is extremely well broke and easy to handle about 14.1 hands and well put together.  He picks up all four, easy to catch, can lay all over him, he will never be suitable for hard riding.  He would be great to teach little ones to ride and learn how to take care of and handle a horse.  We are selling him as is and would like for him to find a forever home.  His price is what we have in him, if not sold in the next week or so, we will have to take him to auction.  600.00  We had Beau evaluated and although he has a scar on his right shoulder, he does not have damage from it or it appears that he doesn't, he was foundered and is improving daily, so we will keep him if we are unable to find the right home for him, he is a just a good gelding, that rides great.  SOLD-THANK YOU THE BRASS FAMILY-AUSTIN-TEXAS.
