Nell

Nell's second ride. We took her to the lake and she neck reined well, backs and is well broke, but hasn't been exposed to a lot of anything, she never bucked or crow hopped, but was skittish and not sure of all the new things. Our opinion is she does not need to be broke to ride or learn to neck rein, but she needs the hair rode off of her and be exposed to anything and everything. She was good to saddle and mount, loaded well. Needs a rider that is comfortable and prepared for the side stepping when she is unsure of what is out there. She is a good mare, 100% sound and healthy, good feet, but without a doubt needs riding, maybe some tarps on her, bags rubbed on her and most of all lots of riding. Cortez: 6 year old Paso Fino Gelding, good minded, and one incredible trail horse. He has a lope to die for, went over logs, rocks, with no spook, wonderful gait, played in the water and absolute pleasure to ride. Pictures taken 2/24/08

Pecos Bill: Aprox 15.2 hands, gelding, he has had professional training, and he is a power house of speed, which will require an experienced rider. He has perfect ground manners, picks up all four, good for ferrier, has new shoes, just had his teeth floated. Has been backed into the box and comes out with incredible speed, just needs someone to show him how to use it.
