Spirit: I bought Spirit from a family in West Texas, they had owned Spirit for 3 years and thought he was about 15 years old, but I mouthed him and his teeth are not long enough to be 15. I am unsure on his age, so we are just going to say an older gelding.
Spirit is incredibly calm, stands still while tied, for mount and dismount, picks up all four feet. He is very calm about everything, he neck reins, backs, and has a nice trot and lope, or he'll just walk if that is what you want. He doesn't appear to have any booger in him. He does move away from you if you are coming at him with halter, but it wasn't bad at all to catch. Per previous owners he had been used for roping, and my husband was throwing the rope off of him yesterday without any issue. He has been rode by children as young as 7. Nice quite gelding with a sensible mind and great looks to boot!!
UPDATE; Spirit is no longer a smokey colore but a beautiful buckskin after losing his winter coat. Here is the deal on him, we have owned him since last November, and he had done real well until he cut is foot and so we doctored it and put him out to pasture. We brought him up recentley and rode him good and then went to ride him the next day and he was sore on the front end, so I think his past roping days have caught up with him.
This gelding is the ultimate for children to learn to ride on, he neck reins, doesn't spook, NOT BARN SOUR OR BUDDY SOUR, and will trail ride all day with the kiddos, but I believe that his being run hard days or over. He easily picks up into a trot, but getting more out of him is going to happy. He is a babysitter horse now and we can keep him here for the grandkids and beginners riders to trail ride on. I paid a lot of money for him and know that I will not get that back out of him, but I'm not giving him away either, this is a nice, beautiful walk, trot gelding................750.00 firm
SOLD, SPIRIT WENT TO THE CHAMBERS FAMILY OF EARLY TEXAS AND IS MAKING A YOUNG LADY VERY HAPPY.

Abbie: 12 to 13 year old 1/2 QTR horse and 1/2 Arabian (good combo), this mare is so very sweet and easy to handle and adores children. I did not ride her just the kids did. She is aprox 14.3 hands, picked up all her feet, was easy to catch, but she was in a large trap, stands quite while tied, saddled up with no issue, we rode her with a hackamore, neck reins, backs good. Has a very fast trot and a wonderful lope. My grand daughter just kept saying I really like her! We did not get a chance to take her out to the arena, but she does no the patterns. I would have no problem taking her to a playday and letting inexperienced kids ride her, because she is that sweet and easy. My 4 year old grandson is her visiting and he had a ball on her. She has a big hay belly, we thought she might be pregnant, but my husband say's no. Wonderful mare with and easy going personality. 875.00
Abbie is on a trial run with a family in Odessa, Tx..

Lacey is not loping the barrel pattern and doing really well, plus the poles which she is great at. Can still throw a rope on her, does trails, will cross anything and will ride right through water, makes her an all around horse, so if your looking for an all around horse for your child or yourself, then she is the one for you. I give her my personal guarantee, safe, sound and sane and ready to go.
Beautiful 4 year old blue/grey mare, well built, gorgeous and well broke, great mind for a horse this young, did not come from a sale barn, she has been rode in a feed lot, not far from me and this mare has it all, and has seen miles old horses have not, super gentle and easy to handle. Pictures coming tomorrow..............................
These pictures do not do her justice and I will be taking some more over the weekend. I have not had one person come out here and not immediately spot her and want to know more about her and her price.
Lacey is aprox 14.1 hands and she is just as awesome on the ground as she is in the saddle. You can rope off of her, she spooks at nothing, easy to catch, loves people and loves to work. You would never know she is a mare, does not have an attitude! She is wearing iron, and would make a great heel horse or calf roping horse.
I am lowering Lacey's price to 2500.00 OBO, if I don't get that, then she stays right here. This mare is incredible and will do anything that is asked of her, no matter who is on her and you can't find that in a young horse, her only issue is leaving untied to cinch her up and doesn't like her back feet messed with all though that has not been issues in a while, but I just want to tell it anyway!
We were going to keep Lacey for Kaytlynn's breakaway and goat tying horse, but do to several medical bills I am going to relist her for sale. I can tell you I am not coming down much on her price. A mare with her attitude at her age, that is kid gentle is only going to get better and better. If she doesn't sale, well we can deal with that. No low ball offers, it's not going to happen.
Lacey's new home will be with a family in Merkel, Tx, but is staying with us for a little while :)

We bought Dixie for my grand daughter to show in 4H, but she is to involved in Barrel racing to take on showing at this time. We have not rode Dixie, although we were told when we bought her that she had reining training and did well on the trails. I can tell you she is very used to being pampered and will call her the prima dona. We have saddled her and lungeed her, but have not rode her. We saddled her the day we brought her in and felt like she was working her hind end correctly and decided to wait on the riding. We are not currently selling her as a riding horse until the weather clears and we actually have time to see what she will do under saddle. She has a bull dog build and would be perfect to show and or breed. Well papered and handles on the ground wonderful. 950.00 Price is firm and or trade for a gelding, that is broke to ride.
NOTE: I HAVE HAD A LOT OF EMAILS ON THIS MARE AND AS MUCH AS I WOULD LOVE TO SELL HER, AT THIS TIME SHE IS NOT SOUND TO RIDE. SHE DOES NOT CARRY HER BACK END CORRECTLY. WE HAVE HAD HER EVALUATED AND WERE TOLD THAT CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENT SHOULD FIX HER, BUT UNTIL I HAVE THE TIME OR OPPORTUNITY TO GET THAT DONE, THEN I AM ONLY SELLING HER AS A BROODMARE. WHEN WE DO HAVE HER WORKED ON HER PRICE WILL NOT BE WHAT SHE IS LISTED FOR NOW, HER PRICE IS DUE TO HER NEEDING THE CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENTS. SHE DOES RIDE AND SHE DOES HANDLE WELL, BUT AGAIN, AT THIS TIME, WE ARE NOT SELLING HER AS SOUND TO RIDE.
SOLD-DIXIE WILL BE MAKING HER HOME IN HAWLEY, TX-TO MAKE PRETTY BABIES

SOLD:Week 2 horse: Apache: 6 year old flashy paint gelding aprox 15 hands, beautiful is an understatement and I paid dearly for this one, he came with with a healthy (soundness) guarantee and that anyone could ride him, he is super flashy and easy to handle, jumped right in the trailer...................easy to handle! Sorry, wish I could have gotten him cheaper, but didn't 1250.00 He rode really well, 1 confident beginner on him and 1 advanced rider, lots of power but easy to handle. No issues so far, rode in the round pen, down the road and the arena.
SOLD: 6/8/10 week 2/apache: I know know why the previous owners called Apache kid gentle, we did everything we could to push him into bucking or crow hopping and I don't think it can be done, there were no holes in him as far as bucking. I did however find him to be lazy in the round pen and knows nothing about lunging, so we worked on that for awhile, he does ride much better outside of the round pen. I lowered his price this week just until I can put some more miles on him. He neck reins to the right, direct reins to the left and I'm going to try and fix that this week, you had to work to get him in a lope, so spurs or a riding crop to kick him up for a child. We will be working on that this week also. So 1250.00 until next week and I'll be riding him everyday until then and his price goes back up. My granddaughter rode him with no problem with flip flops on and had to really kick him to get him moving faster.
APACHE SOLD FOR A LITTLE GIRLS BIRTHDAY PRESENT AND WILL BE MAKING HIS HOME IN TUSCOLA, TX.

4/17/10 Dolly back from refreshing and wow what a difference and the biggest difference is, she is no longer dappled, she has turned into a chocolate palomino :( still pretty, but doesn't look the same, the only way we knew her was her size and love people attitude..............new pictures coming.
Dolly: 5 year old dappled palomino mare, she is 16.3 hands and legs that endless. This mare is my husbands personal horse and he was injured by a colt last winter and doesn't ride much anymore. We have decided to sell her, so that she doesn't go to waste sitting in the pasture.
Her History: We bought this mare last winter privately from a cowboy who had lost his job on a ranch he Lamesa, he broke her as a two year old and she spent the next 3 years working daily at the ranch, dragging calfs, roping, and moving cattle (general ranch work). This mare is big enough to hold anything! He told us she was registered when he bought her, but had lost the papers and all he could remember was that she was Two eyed Jack on the bottom.
We have used her for general ranch work, trail riding and she handles rough country well! She has been pasture roped on, do not know how she would score, we have not backed her into the box. She neck reins, gives with leg pressure, backs, no buck, no bite, no kicking. She is dominant and has the size to back her up. She is the herd mare and you call she will bring the herd to you! She is no problem to catch even on a couple of hundred acres. She is a people horse and adores attention! When up under the barn she will play chase with you just like a dog, she has an unbelieveable personality and is good natured. Bathes, brushs, fly sprays, picks up all four feet, is great with the farrier.
The following pictures were taken 9/19/09 and Dolly had been sitting in the pasture about 5 months without being saddled and only brought in to have her feet done and worming done. I think for a 5 year old she did just awesome and within minutes was getting her flow of things back. She did not buck, or move around for saddling, mount or dismount. This mare has speed and power, but could easily be handled on the trail by a confident beginner. Would make an incredible roping horse, maybe barrels????? We are going to give a shot at trying her on the barrels and we will see what kind of potential she has.
2500.00 or trade for, Livestock trailer with tack compartment, hay coastal or alfalfa, round or squares, front end loader to fit our tractor, skid steer. We need welding and lights put up in our arena, so might do some trading that way too. Let us know what you have!
Due to Dolly just sitting in the pasture not getting rode and because I have several medical bills to pay for my recent accident. I will take best offer on Dolly. I won't take low ball offers, as I don't have to sell her, but it would help.
SOLD TO HALEY OF OZONA, TX DOLLY WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED HERE, BUT SHE NEEDS A JOB AND I THINK SHE GOING TO BE MUCH HAPPIER ON A WORKING RANCH.

Dun It: 12 year old red dun gelding, with a very nice handle, pretty quick on his feet and quite. Neck reins, collects his head when he backs and handles himself well with everything we have exposed him to so far. He has been ranch worked, but do not if he has been roped on or not. We will try the roping after the holiday. This a very well put together gelding that should make anyone a very good mount, now when I say anyone, it's anyone that has some experience, as he is pretty quick on his feet. 1350.00 guaranteed sound and healthy. Super easy to catch and will drop his head in the halter............good honest horse!

Jack: Is a 4 year old gelding that is broke, broke. Of all the ponies here he is the one I would keep. He is a registered POA, would make an awesome hunter/jumper prospect or a playday pony. At 14 hands he is plenty big enough for any adult to ride, he loves to trail ride and has no spook in him. Incredible ground manners and very loving without being pushy.
****My favorite thing about Jack is that he has a built in safety feature, that was taught while he was being trained. Children and
adults that are beginner riders all have one thing in common when they panic they squeeze their legs together and for most horses that means go, but with Jack it means STOP RIGHT NOW! and he immediately stops giving the rider a chance to collect themselves, and Jack has a good stop, just sit you backside down and he will stop. How cool is that feautre! SOLD

Cool: Registered POA pony, 6 years old and gentle as can be, adores attention and loves kids. He gave lessons last summer and did a playday or two, but he would only walk around the barrels. He doesn't have any buck in him. He gives his head both ways, flexs and backs and just is not into loping yet. He is about as flashy as pony as you can get and he's registered. Perfect for 4-H child starting out and at 13 hands he is plenty big enough for any adult to take him to the next level.

Sierre: Is a coming 3 year old, that is broke to ride and registered. This little filly is your kids show horse deluxe, with all the flash and conformation that you could ask for. She is young, but is broke to ride (not ready for a child yet), adults can ride her, even at her stout 12.3 hands and still growing. She is easy to catch and very personable. This little girl just needs to be taken to the next level and gets some wet saddle blankets. She has been trail rode on and is still lookey and will move sideways if she is unsure if it's the boogey man hiding under the bush and behind the tree, but is nothing crazy and riding will take care of that. She handles extremely well under saddle.
If you are looking for the perfect little show horse for the next season, then this is your gal. Finish her and you have a pony that is going to make your money back and then some.................You cannot go wrong at this price 525.00 what a christmas morning gift she would be.'

Charmin: 14 year old mare, aprox 13.3 hands, and just as cute as a bug in a rug, fat and sassy, super easy to handle. Stands still for saddling, mount and dismount, rides with a hackamore, neck reins, backs and has no spook. Kids had used her for parades and playdays, but let me say getting this mare to lope takes some work and so I can see her trotting the barrels without issue and possibly loping home. She is perfect for the kids just starting out in playdays or 4 H, and also just pasture and trail riding. This little mare is plenty big enough for a beginner adult to ride and do whatever they want to on her. She is a lot of fun.
SOLD TO CHEYANNE OF ABILENE, TX!

Chubbs: 9 yr Sorrel gelding, about 14-14.1 hands tall, stocky built, neck reins, has a great stop, also used at a kids camp for a month this past
summer, loads good, stands tied quietly, his mane has been rubbed out but he's built nice and in good shape, nice riding gelding!
11/21/09: We let Chubbs stand for 2 weeks after we got him and then rode him, just to see what he would do. He did great! He has a good handle and no spook that we could find. He has a good hard stop, neck reins, we took him through the trailers, hay bales, flag pole, dogs, tractors and vehicles and he did great! I think he is to little much for a very small child, but would make a great little ranch horse for a kid. An adult beginner would have no problems, and probably age 12 and up that is confident. He has no buck or bite.
Chubbs aka spike, has proven to be a very well handled boy. He has good handle, easy to stop, reins wonderful, ran around the barrels and poles, and would make good playday pony/horse, cow pony. He is a horse, but small and wide and easy to handle, he is not patterned, but will do the patterns, just because you ask him too.
SOLD-CHUBBS WILL BE MAKING HIS HOME IN PUTNAM, TX WITH THE PEARSONS.

Montana: 6 year old appendix bred mare, used for trails, running blood on both sides, no actual registration papers, but have papers on her bloodlines. She is up to date on vacs, trim and worming, coggins, papers on hand. She just weaned a colt.
Mare is gentle and kind and has no buck and we have really tried to get her to. She was previously owned by a family and they rode her in the grasslands on trail rides mostly by children. We bought her as a barrel prospect and will soon be starting her. As of right now she is only a trail horse, no spook, nothing appears to bother her. She stands tied quite, tacks up good, stands still for mount and dismount, neck reins, direct reins and backs (we taught her to back in one session) non dominant, low in the pecking order, easy to catch, loving mare with a sensible mind and a gentle nature. My grand daughter just loved her.
Beautiful horse with a wonderful attitude, not mareish, level headed and easy to handle. Has a nice trot that is easy to sit.

Stands 100%still for saddling, mount and dismount. Kids rode him and he did fine. Doesn't appear to have any spook to him. 875.00
