Ci Ci

CiCi's first day back from the trainer and we went on a trail ride.  She did great!  Played in the water, didn't spook on the trails.  We hope to put her on some cattle in the next couple of weeks and see how she does.  This week we are going to take her to the arena and see if she could make a barrel horse.  This mare is ready to take anyway you want and she has great papers with Valentine breeding.  Nice stout mare!

Chester is aprox 15.3 hand chestnut gelding and he is a well built boy.  Previous owner said he was 11, but I believe he maybe a couple of years younger than that, but have not had him aged yet, by someone who does a better job of it than I do.  This gelding came off a Ranch (if you want the name I'll be happy to give it to you), Said, to have roped cattle off of him and that anyone could ride him, before they put him out to pasture for the winter.  Well, this guy can move and he has some speed and pretty good moves, has a great handle and probably the potential to do anything you wanted him too.  He will pick up his feet and let me clean them, but we tried to file the fronts and he wouldn't stand still and I haven't had the farrier out to do proper job.  The video I have posted does not show how well he stops, but he does have a good stop and I do have pretty good video of that if you'd like to see it.

We did run him around the barrels, he had no idea what we were doing, but complied just the same.  He could definetly have some barrel potential, because he can fly and can really turn.  Probably be great for roping and could see him being a head horse.  Good ranch horse if that is what you needed.  He is sound and healthy, and although the previous owner said, "anyone could ride him", he needs some more riding before I would do that, sitting all winter means, refreshing with most horses and he is no exception.

I have been working with Chester on letting people mess with his feet, he had a bad experience with the farrier and now, he gets really nuts when you mess with his feet.  His price is 950.00 as is.
Going to the auction Middle of the month if not sold.

Rainbow

6 yr Bay mare, about 15.2 hands tall, easy to catch in the pasture, loves any and all attention, gives her feet easily, neck
reins, has a good stop, has been ridden on trails, at playdays and down the road by a 8 year old, she just needed a step up horse because she wants to go faster, not spooky or skittish, on the lazy side, she trots the barrel pattern and then lopes home.  This is the ultimate trail horse and kid horse, she is slow as molasses and has no buck in her, she will not run away with anyone.  Calm, calm, calm.  We have to use the over and under to get her into a lope, she would just prefer to walk.

Kayos Nickolas" is an 8 year old red dun AQHA gelding who stands about 14.2 hands tall. He's easy to catch (most of the time), easy
to tack up, loads great, stands tied quietly and stands for mount and dismount. He's very athletic and would be a good prospect for
just about anything. Can really get down and turn when asked but is also content to go along at a slow pace. Neck reining some, moves
off of your leg, backs nicely and has a great stop (completely with a light touch). He's very light mouthed and responsive. He's been
used for trails, riding down the road and they said they had even taken him hog hunting. He has a current coggins and all of his
paperwork is in order. Needs a trim. He's very well bred too

Nick rides great!  Really laid back gelding that changes gaits easily, wonderful to handle, easy going attitude, awesome stop.  Would be a great playday horse, believe that nearly anyone can handle him. Wonderful on the trails, he has no spook, didn't try to come back to the house, didn't care where the other horses were at, or weather he was the leader or follower.  Very nice guy..............good for anything.

No trades, price is firm and yes he needs a little weight.

Sold-thank you Higgins-Abilene, Tx

This is one incredible 4 year old gelding, he has been worked daily and it shows, you can rope off of him, drag steers with him, he will cut out a calf or cow and work it, pasture roped, has a handle that is hard to believe in a 4 year old, moves and works like a cutting horse, he is fast, he is quick, catty and when he stops he is up underneath himself.  There is no spook and there is no buck, he reins, he backs he stops, he ropes and he'll cut a cow out and he is beautiful to look at with papers to back him up.  Normally I say, it's not the papers that make the horse, it's the horse that makes the papers.........................WELL HE MADE HIS PAPERS! AND MAKES THEM LOOK GOOD.  Quality, is the only word to describe him, your not getting any better than this gelding.  He has a great mind and will take you in any direction you want to go and no matter which way that is, your coming out a winner.
He is worked everyday all day in a feed lot, he has miles under him that most horses never see.

100% sound  GUARANTEED he will pass any Vet check.........................Come and ride him and find out what a quality cowboy horse really is, as they just don't get any better.

If the economy was better I wouldn't take less than 5,000.00 on this gelding.  I will take 3,000.00 and you'll not only get your monies worth and then some, you'll have a horse you'll never have to trade off or sale, he's got the rest of his life to give his all to you and what ever winners circle you want him in.

THIS GELDING IS SOLD-NOTE I DID NOT OWN THIS HORSE-I SOLD HIM ON CONSIGNMENT.  HE WENT TO NEW MEXICO AND WILL BE PASTURE MATES WITH BADGER, ONE OF OUR FORMER HORSES.
