Silver: He has much better manners than Kiko, stands tied quite, does not get in your space, no bite and no kick, acted nervous about the saddle, but took it well, no cinch issues, picked up all of his feet, let me fly spray him for oh about 30 seconds and then moved away and looked at me like

I lunged him, and don't believe he was trained for that, but he did it, stopping to get bites of grass if he could get buy with it. Took the bit without issue. He's to small for me to ride, so hopefully I will have someone available this evening to ride him. I will price him after that. Thanks for being patient everyone :)550.00 SOLD-NEW HOME WILL BE IN OKLAHOMA

Storm

Storm: 6 year old black and white paint mare, with startling blue eyes, registered and very quite, aprox 15 hands and stout. Owned by a friend of mine and I traded for her today. Same owner for the last 2 and half years, she neck reins, backs, trails ride and was slightly started on barrels 2 years ago. She has been sitting in the pasture for about 16 months and we rode her today, well she never missed a lick, rode off quite with the dogs barking and running around her feet. She is light in the mouth and will make a great trail horse or from her speed out in the pasture, a good barrel prospect. She is currently in Pasture condition and rubbed her mane out on the round bale feeder, trimmed her feet today, and she did just awesome, she will load in a two horse straight load. We will be starting her on the barrel pattern again. Get her now before we get her back in condition, she rides with a hackamore and she rides bareback too! 925.00 Sale pending, looks like Storm will be going Oklahoma.

Suri:  8 year old pony mare, aprox 13.3 hands, rides really good, neck reins, backs, will easily pick up to a lope, trail rides.  She is a nice size pony, plenty big enough for an adult.  She lead, loads, stands tied quite, clips without much fuss and picks up her feet.  Stands 100 percent still for mount and dismount.  She's a good one 975.00

Suri

Tequilla:  11 year old Arabian mare, very nice handle on her and lots of energy to go with it.  Neck reins, backs and very responsive.  This is an endurance prospect if I have ever seen one.  She has no buck in her and that includes crow hopping and it doesn't matter how long she sits.  She is about 14.3 hands (haven't measures her) bay in color with a white sock.  She will ride in just about any bit, has not appeared to spook at anything.  She will ride around the barrels and poles and that is apparently what she was initially trained for, but has been doing trail and road riding for the last 4 years.  She is very well put together and would probably do well as a barrel or playday prospect.  Her feet need to be trimmed and she needs to have a coggins pulled, as she didn't come with one, but guarantee it clean, will not be having it pulled here, as so long as we don't haul her anywhere we are not required to have one.  Once we start putting time in on her and get ready to haul her to the arena (play days) then we will have that done.  I think a confident beginner could handle her, as long as they were up for "Go Go" attitude.  She does stop well, which is a plus when you have as much energy as she has.  It could be some of her go, go is because she has been sitting in a pasture for 6 months and not rode consistently.  She is sound and healthy.  Her price is low due to her breed and the current horse market, but it will increase as we start consistently work with her on the barrels, poles and cattle..............This is a good price on this mare!!  Intermediate and advance riders will be in Heaven on this mare, with no buck and her endurance level............you can't go wrong!

Tequilla

Tator is a 4 year old Dun pony gelding aprox 13 hands, he rides good, a little on the lazy side, direct reins, no reverse yet.  Saddles up quite, no cinch issues, picks up all four feet, does great with the fly spray, likes to be groomed.  He also like to play with the big horses and they like to bite him.  We bought him out of a pasture and he had been pretty beat up by the big horses.  He easily takes the bit and does give his head, he has not spooked at anything around here, gater, tracker, dirt bikes or dogs.  Rode better in the arena than the round pen, didn't know much about lunging, but got better every minute.  He easily will go from a walk to a trot, but really does not like to lope and that became a lot of work to get him too.  He follows the other horses and never bolted or tried to take off.
We have only owned him for a week and this is all we have so far.  575.00 until we keep working with him, then he'll be priced accordingly.  We did lead line him with my 16 month old grand daughter and he did great with that too.

TATOR SOLD TO KRISTEN-ABILENE, TX..............TATOR IS GOING TO BECOME A LESSON PONY, BECAUSE HE'S SO LAID BACK.  WE ARE GLAD TO SEE HE GOT AN AWESOME HOME WITH LOTS OF LOVE AND ATTENTION.

Glamour has proven to be a family and friend favorite around here and has been ridden just about everyday.  She has a wonderful temperment and rides awesome.  We put her around the barrels and after twice, it was if she was born to do it, although to my knowledge she had no prior exposure.  She trails rides with no spook and no lookey, she has not every offered to hump up, crow hop or buck.  She can be hard to catch, she neck reins, backs, easy to tack up, stands for mount and dismount.  Doesn't mind the dogs, trucks, tractor or the general noise we get around here, not even the dirt bikes.  1250.00 and she is worth every penny of it.

GLAMOUR was being rode and kept by Emily, who has now enlisted in the Navy, so she has to leave, but wish I could keep her, as she is a horse that anyone can ride, she is extremely easy to handle and get along with, this mare has no spook, whether it's out on the trail or in a big lighted arena with lights and cars and loud speakers.  She is not the fastest horse at barrels, poles and flags, but she will darn sure do whatever is asked of her, just point her at the barrels and tell her to do it and she tries hard, but she's a slow poke with an easy slow lope.  Will post video of the last play day later today.  This mare is an easy keeper and stays fat on nothing, no matter how much she gets rode

Toodie:  12 year old registered mare, very flashy, have no idea why this mare has not sold, because she is worth by far more than I am asking for her, but her price will soon be going up.  She is scheduled to have her teeth floated first of September, we are doing this because with some bits she pulls her head away, but I imagine she will always need light hands, as this mare needs little pressure to move anyway you want her to!  She neck reins like a dream, will work off of leg pressure, if you can sit in a saddle you can ride her, but if you open her up and turn you need to be able stay in the saddle, because she turns quick and snappy.  Make an incredible play day horse and think she has some reining experience.  She has worked cattle here, been pasture and trail rode without any spook, she is easy to catch, picks up all four feet, saddles up quite, stands still for mount and dismount, easy to groom and fly spray.

She has a small indention on one side of her neck, looks as though she was bit at one time by another horse, it's old and she has a scar on her back leg, it's old and she has no give to it at all!  This mare has been rode continiously here, as she is a favorite and she has shown no signs of permanent damage.  She is not mareish, and not a wench, knows her space while still enjoying the company of people.  She is a quality mare and an incredible riding horse.  1250.00 until I get her teeth done then price will rise to 1500.00 if not more.  She is not under weight and is in fantastic condition.  SOLD TO JESSICA ISHAM-SAN SABA, TX

Missy:  5 year old pony mare,  aprox 12.2 to 12.3 hands, and this little girl can really ride around and would make a great play day pony.  She will go slow if you ask her, but she will also pick up to a lope with no issue and move out, she has no buck and no bite, she does neck rein, but could use more work on it, she backs, stands 100 percent still for mount, dismount, saddling.  She does ride with a tie down and I didn't have one small enough so we just rigged one up.  She has a nice little stop.  She fat, sassy and ready to go.  Now when I say ready to go I mean that we have evaluated her, meaning there has been an adult and child on her and there were no issues, but we have only owned her for a week and we will keep riding her.  She has been in the round pen, arena and around the house, exposed to the dogs, livestock, vehicles and has not shown any sign of being lookey or spooky I will make every attempt to get her out on the trails Thursday or Friday, as I know everyone is emailing about seeing the ponies this weekend.  Just know the heat and we have so many horses to ride that time is limited, but we will try.  More to come

Hershey:  8 year old bay ranch gelding, he is 15.3 hands and a big, big boy, well built to hold anything you want to rope.  I was told he did all phases of ranch work and had been roped on, but haven't seen it myself, yet.  He stands ground tied, has impeccable manners, knows nothing about lunging (using horses, usually don't), picks up all four, stands quite for saddling, mount and dismount.  Very responsive to leg pressure, and he's got speed.  I'm pretty sure he will spin, he side passes, neck reins, backs, and comes packed and built for power.  This gelding can get around.  He is way to much horse for me, but I don't mind riding him at all, but I won't open him up, thinking I'd probably fall off.  My husband will try and get him rode this week and really see what he will do.  We have to get his shoes pulled, first.
5/31/09:  New pictures taken today, but left the camera at the barn (we still need to have his shoes pulled)  He doesn't mind the rope and he will work the rope, husband rode him, say's he has a good handle on him, should have the potential to do anything you want!  He will neck rein with a string around his neck and no bridle.  1950.00

Lexus:AQHA  Registered 9 year old Dark Bay Roan mare.  This little mare can really ride around, well started on poles, coming along very nicely on barrels, will watch a cow.  Good handle, awesome stop, has been hauled to playdays and exposed frequently to arena events.  We are going to try this week to throw a rope off of her and see how she handles it, because she would make a great, calf roping, or breakaway horse.  Would probably be great for goat tying also.  She gives her head both ways, neck and direct reins.  Great for Western pleasure and trails rides wonderful with no spook.  Lunges like a pro and easy to catch.  Clips, ties and trailers and I can put a blanket over her head without any issue.
I bought this mare for me to playday on and then my trainer gave me a mare that I had been longing for and I just can't keep to many, as I can't keep them rode.  Confident Adult can handle her, experienced child will be in heaven on her.
She is 14.1 hands, stands 100 % still for saddling, mount and dismount, picks up all four, great for the farrier.  She is ready for the season!

QUERVO FOUND HIS FOREVER HOME IN SHALLOW WATER, TEXAS WITH AN AWESOME LADY THAT EMILY WAS HAPPY TO LET HIM GO TO!!!!!

7/3/09 Quervo: He is a family horse and the only reason he is for sale is my daughters wants a new mare that we recently bought and we have to many of our own. I will say, if he doesn't sale, that's ok. He is 6 years old, registered and a light sorrel. He is 15.3 hands, easy to catch and yes, pretty much any level of rider can ride him. We have many beginners on him for trail riding, he has been to Martha Josey Barrel camp and handled the noise and racket with no problem. He had never done barrels and hung with it really good, but he came home and all that's been done since is trail riding. He has had a rope thrown off of him and he has tracked cattle. He neck reins, direct reins, backs, great with the farrier and adores people. He is a big, big boy and handles anything new with no problem. I will get his papers posted later and get more recent pictures and find my memory card of him at barrel camp last year. Although he is a sorrel he is still very flashy with a great handle. 2000.00 Firm, for this week. I will post him out on the horse web site next week and this will not be his price. He is one of the few horses that at his age I would put beginners on, because it is a rarity for a horse to be that calm when young and he has had beginners on him since last year. He is not a dominant horse in the least, but is not at the end of the pecking order either, he's somewhere in between. It's hard to believe that a gelding like this could be so gentle, but I had a 2 year old on him in the round pen day before yesterday, Quervo rode with his head down and never missed a beat and the 2 year old could pull back and make him stop. He is top quality and worth well more than the 2,000.00. You want that horse to feel safe on, well he's about as close as your ever going to get! www.allbreedpedigree.com/dat+gold+bid If I have time I will get pictures of the kids riding him tonight and will get them posted. 100% Sound and healthy and will pass any Vet check! I did not realize his coggins was out, until just now when I got his registration papers out, so I will need to get that done, or if you want him sooner, you can stop by the Vets office and have it pulled or when you get a Vet check

Emily and Quervo

Emily and her new guy!  He was mine, but some how she took him over, which is how I ended up with Lexus (whom I love dearly).  Quervo is one of the best geldings we have ever owned, he is only 4 years old, but sensible as any horse I have seen, as he acts like a 10 year old.  She loves him and even if she moves onto another horse, we will probably just keep him, cause he's another needle in the haystack kind of horse.

3/19/09 Shortcake: 5 year old appaloose mare,  (might be a little younger than 5) we bought at auction a couple of months ago, because I felt sorry for her. We have been putting weight on her every since and she had just weaned a filly. She is about 14 hands, and she was riding around good, appeared to neck rein, and they said they had been hog hunting off of her, but I find that really hard to believe. She still needs some more weight, but we are trying to cut down and get everything off of our feed bill.

Shortcake, was officially rode today 5/28/09 and she rode around pretty good, all that worry for nothing!  When lunging her I thought she was going to hump up, but she smoothed right out.  AP (novice rider) decided he was going to give it a shot and see if she would buck and she didn't, she stood perfect for mounting, and then rode right off, picked up into a trot, did some work to get her to lope and then nothing but smooth.  She direct reins, backs and gives her head.  She is now 500.00 and we will keep riding her and see what her price does then.  Get her now, while we are still putting miles on her, to get her at the better price.
WILL EITHER BE TAKING HER TO AUCTION OR SENDING HER FOR REFRESHING, BUY HER NOW!

SOLD TO TABITHA OF BRIDGEPORT, TX.

I bought this 5 year old mare about 6 months ago at auction, she was very skinny and looked like death.  They were riding her around, she was reining and backed up and looked as though she had just weaned a filly.  I felt sorry for her and bought her. We brought her home and started putting weight on her, but we never rode her, due to her being so thin.  We have just started working with her.  So far, she stands quite tied, picks up her feet, saddles up without issue, takes the bridle without issue, gummed at the bridle some, acted like it was something she had never experienced, but eventually just went with it.  Walked her to the round pen, and she stood great tried to get her to lunge with hand signels, and then eventually had to pop the whip behind her, she knows nothing about lunging, she seemed like she was going to hump up a couple of times and then would just smooth out, after an hour or so she was getting the lunging and no hump.
