T BAR M RANCH

Well this has been a hard decision to make, but I have decided to sell my Journey, she and I have been trail riding for the last 2 years, doing barrels, and playdays for the last  year, but I have bought another horse for barrels and still have my first horse for trail riding and so I cannot keep them all rode.  Journey's past has included roping and knows all about backing into the box, she will track a cow.  It's been a couple of years since she has been roped off of.  She finished her training with a dear friend of mind who put months of hard work into this mare.  She neck reins excellent, collects her head when she backs, can open gates off of her, ropes, easy to catch, does all playday events, but best at barrels, she has not been pushed on barrels so her best times right now are 18, which was 2 weeks ago at the NBHA.  My grand daughter ran her last Sunday at the WTBRA, she is good for a child that knows how to ride, she is quick on her feet with an incredible stop.  She will only go to an approved home and am not 100% sure I will not change my mind on selling her.  She is 100% sound, stands for the farrier, picks up all four feet, fly sprays, stands still for mount and dismount including a mounting block, she will stand tied all day without a fuss, she is a easy keeper.  To top it all off she is beautiful and will get you noticed, she is a bay with white socks and a long thick black main, forelock and tail, she loves being groomed and tolerates anything.  SHE IS SOUND AND HEALTHY, GUARANTEED.  Her bottom dollar price is 3800.00.  I will consider trades, but not for a horse, will trade for a 3 or 4 horse slant in good condition.  You cannot talk me down on her, because her price is not based sentiment, but on her mind and ability and no she is not registered, was at one time, but papers became part of an estate and could not be gotten.  Did I mention the short lope that is so smooth it's like sliding on glass!  No bite, no Kick....................Good and approved home only!!
She is 6 years old, 14.3 hands and stocky, this mare can do anything you ask her to do, her mind is priceless!

6 year old Sorrel gelding, rides good, no spook, kid gentle, direct reins easily, a little on the lazy side, but not to bad for a beginner rider 14 hands, this little gelding, will pick up his feed pan and bring it to you, he is quite a hoot, he has done some playdays, but he doesn't have any speed to him, no buck, no bite, not a run off.  875.00

4 year old paint pony gelding, straight from Mexico, literally!  He is not the prettiest little thing I have ever seen, but appears to have a fairly good attitude, rode around good, direct reins, wasn't spooky, loaded wonderful.  We will try and get him rode tomorrow and make sure he is still quite to ride 350.00  We named him Border :)

Trades, we are back to everyone wanting to do trades again, and yes occasionally I will do that, but let me say again, that I have to have cash to buy feed and run this business, trades mean, more rides, feeding, pictures and advertising.  So on each horse I am going to go through and write what I must have in cash, plus a trade.  You will have to decide if you can deal with my cash amount.  Again, I do not take studs (exception registered blue roan), broodmares, or non riding horses.  About the only time I can do a straight across trade is if it's for hay, trailers, farm equipment, or two for one horses..........and still might need some cash, depends on the horses.

Let me sell your trailer for you, flat commission, you can park them here, I will posts the pictures, advertising and deal with the phone calls and showing it.................

Barn reorganization:  were cleaning it out to put in a small tack store (nothing fancy) just stuff for new horse owners and using tack................We are now buying saddles and tack........................

WE HAD A WONDERFUL RESPONSE TO TAKING PAYMENTS OVER WINTER, SO WE HAVE DECIDED THAT WE WILL DO IT DURING RIDING SEASON ALSO.  I PREFER TO SELL BETTER QUALITY HORSES AND THAT MEANS I PAY MORE AND SO DO OUR CUSTOMERS, TO HELP WITH THAT WE HAVE A PAYMENT PLAN.
I HAVEN'T MADE A PAGE FOR THAT YET, BUT WILL, AND IT WILL BE A DROP DOWN BOX UNDER TERMS AND CONDITIONS.  BASICALLY YOUR HORSE STAYS HERE UNTIL IT'S PAID FOR, AND YOU BRING AND BUY YOUR OWN FEED, YOU ARE WELCOME TO RIDE ON OUR PROPERTY UNTIL THE HORSE IS PAID FOR. YOU CAN TAKE THE HORSE OTHER PLACES, BUT THAT MEANS I MUST HAVE A CHECK (EVEN POST DATED) THAT COVERS THE HORSE IN CASE IT IS NOT RETURNED OR SOMETHING HAPPENS TO IT WHILE IT IS AWAY FROM OUR PROPERTY.  I DO NOT HAVE A PLACE TO STORE RIDING GEAR, HALTERS, ETC, OUR BARN, TACK ROOM, RIDING EQUIPMENT AND HALTERS ARE STRICTLY OFF LIMITS, AS I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THAT IN THE PAST.  I CAN FEED FOR YOU AND HAVE PLACES TO STORE HAY, YOU WILL NEED A SEAL TIGHT CONTAINER FOR YOUR OTHER FEED, WITH YOUR HORSES NAME MARKED ON IT. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR WORMING, FARRIER AND VET COSTS, FUEL IF I NEED TO HAUL THEM.
PAYMENTS 25% DOWN, POSTED DATED CHECKS FOR THE BALANCE FOR HOWEVER LONG YOU NEED TO PAY OFF THE HORSE.  HORSE STAYS HERE UNTIL PAID FOR, YOU BUY THE FEED OR 7.00 DOLLARS A DAY, LESS ON PONIES, MORE ONLY IF THE HORSE IS OF A SIZE THAT IT WOULD REQUIRE MORE FEED. Remember all monies paid are non refundable, any check that does not clear the bank, terms are immediatley void and the horse is relisted for sale.  What money you paid is forefieted.  Just want to be very clear!!

I will be changing up the web site considerably in the next few weeks and we are going to do things a little different around here.  In the past year we made an attempt at buying horses privately, but the expense at buying one at a time just didn't work.  We will again be going back to auctions, but are going to make a mix of the old way we sold horses and the way we do now.  Meaning everyone wants a 2500.00 horse for 500.00 and yes, you can find them at auctions, but it's risky.  Our competition in Oklahoma, sells horses cheap, ususally never has a horse for more than a day or two with prices averaging about 575.00 a head, its the quick turn out and cheap prices that makes the money, but those horses have one 10 minute ride if that, still risky, but at least you know it rides, no feet trimming or worming, just a quick ride and listed cheap.  Apparently that's what folks want, so this is what we will do to compete.

BEGINS JUNE 1-2010 PROVIDING I CAN FIND HORSES I AM WILLING TO RESALE CHEAP

Watch for our WEEK 1
horses, meaning, the first week we have owned them, prices at 100 to 200 hundred, more than we paid to cover fuel and the first ride, no frills, no trims, shoes or worming, what you see is what you get, and we will tell you everything we know after the first ride. NO GUARANTEE!

WEEK 2 horses: means, the same horses as last week, but more rides and more money, the better we know the horse and the time means the more the cost.
.
WEEK 3:  The horses that have moved from week 2, more rides and miles, feet trimmed, wormed, better idea on how the horse is going to handle and of course more money.

WEEK 4:  The horses that were week 3 horses, exposed to everything we have here, barrels, arena, trails, poles, clipped, bathed, wormed.................and lots of miles, 100% sure they were not drugged at the sale barn, and much higher priced.

After week 4 they will go on our regular sales pages as horses we are very comfortable with and the price will be what we feel the horse is worth.

We will also have a going back to auction page,  meaning............it's a horse with issues, that we don't want to deal with it, will state the exact issue the horse has, the price will be exactly what we paid for it, you decide if you have the time to deal with it or not.

Note: if we buy a horse privatley or take on in on trade will be posted on regular pages and will not be posted as weekly horses.
