Bill of sale:

We use a standard Equine bill of sale, it is with no implied warranties, unless written into the contract itself.  All horses are sold "AS IS", unless it is written into the bill of sale that we have agreed on other terms.

If you would like to read our Bill of Sale, prior to coming out and riding any of our horses, we can email you a copy of it. We can also email you a liability waiver to read and sign, or you can sign the liability waiver when you get here.

We offer all buyers the opportunity to take the horse of there choice to a Vet of their choice, prior to purchase.  The only exception is that the Vet must be within a 60 mile radius and you must leave a check and sign a statement,  that your check will be returned to you after the examination, if you decide not to buy the horse, regardless of what whether it is a health issue or just that you have changed your mind.

Beginning February 10th, we will no longer be able to take horses back after purchase on trade for another horse. Prior to this month, we would within a week or two take a horse back and allow the buyer to trade out for another horse, but we now have had to change that due to the misunderstanding of time limits.  Please come and ride a horse as many times as you feel you need to, before you make a purchase.  Horses are a large investment of money and time.  If we cannot be here on the weekends or a weekday, we will arrange for someone to be here, so that you can ride, again and again, until you are comfortable with which ever horse you choose.  I understand that sometimes peoples hearts are set one horse, and yes, that horse may very well sale before you get a chance to come back and ride again.  We cannot guarantee that the horse won't sale, but we will give you every opportunity that we can for you to come as often as possible to ride the horse of your choice or work with the horse that you are considering purchasing.  We can occasionally take people and the horses they are considering out to the lake to trail ride, but that has to be arranged and there is some cost involved with hiring someone to take the horse or horses out there, if you are interested in this service, please let us know and we will find a guide and what the cost for doing this will be, as we have never offered this service before and we cannot always be available.  We do have a few people who would do a guided trail ride on the horses that are being considered for purchase, but it would be at the buyers expense.

No person can guarantee what any animal will do in any given situation, whether it be a dead broke horse or a young horse that has not been exposed to every situation it could possibly encounter.  Recently, (last week) I had surgery on my shoulder to repair my rotator cuff.  In the same incident that I tore my rototor cuff I also broke my ribs.  I was on a "dead broke, bomb proof older horse," the saddle slipped and she spooked.  There is never anyway to promise anyone that in any given situation that "ANY" horse will not do the same.  Horses have minds of their own, and you can only control so much, but in the end they are an animal and sometimes out weighing us by 1000 or more pounds.  Please be sure that horse back riding is the sport or leisure time that you want to invest your money and time in.  As with any sport it comes with risks and the possibility of getting hurt.  I would challenge anyone to say that you can 100% percent control an animal without a risk of being hurt.  For myself, I realized the mare reacted to a fear and I was unable to control her or the situation. As soon as the Doctor releases me I will be back in the saddle and plan on competing with the older ladies at barrel racing this year, again I understand the risks, but horses are wonderful friends and companions that I enjoy to much to give up, even with the risks.  I hope that anyone that decides, they themselves or there children, want to ride are aware of any and all risks involved with these wonderful animals.

We will no longer take trades towards our horses.  You are are still welcome to call and ask, but generally people want to trade a horse with issues for a horse that does not have issues.  If you have a special situation we can still discuss the possibility of a trade.  We can trade out for other livestock, vehicles, fencing, etc.

Be safe and happy riding.
